Hiero-tropic space-time
The human space-time is not isotropic. It is initially charged with `bio-sacral’ energy. This one is concentrated to its maximum in an absolute centre. From there, it irradiates the totality of the space-time while being degraded as it moves away from the node of extreme central intensity and while dispersing in nodules of variable intensity. Each one of these nodules becomes a regional centre of sacral energy. It takes part in the sacral load of the absolute Centre of the universe.
Between the very high central tension and the peripheral dilution, each nodule represents a certain energetic potential. Each point of the natural horizontality is to some extent crossed by sacral verticality. Continuities are discontinued. Thus the universe vibrates at the rhythm of sacral discontinuity. There are key periods. There are top-places. Each node of bio-sacral force becomes taboo.
The figures and the symbols are charged with sacral pregnancy. The mythical image of the world falls under the spherical perfection. Hemispheres are different, visible and invisible, celestial and infernal. The sacral axis heaven-earth, with its absolute high and its absolute bottom, is fundamental and governs all other dimensions and orientations. It crosses the sphere and marks the ‘omphalos’ of a perfectly centred and unified universe.

Before being made geography, the image of the earth is built according to a sacred topology. There is always a sacred centre. The first important one is the house as living centre where man places himself by placing there the symbols of his sacral participation in the whole universe. Then you have many other spaces, from the village and through the clannish space as far as the Empires. Through his migrations, from east to west, from North to South, man always carries his centre with him. And obviously this centre follows him everywhere!
Here, for example, the planisphere of Giovanni Leardo, in 1442, exactly half a century before the adventure of Christopher Colombus. The sacral centre of the terrestrial sphere is the terrestrial Jerusalem in the invisible vertical axis of the Heavenly Jerusalem. It is an astonishing planisphere which knows already that the earth is spherical and yet does not manage to buckle the loop of the circle on itself. Contours remain open on the mystery, charged with fright and dream. But the main important thing was having and marking a centre. 150 years later you find the planisphere of Scotto, very close to our modern representations of the spherical representation. The epistemological rupture gets visible. The circumnavigation of the earth is made possible. Undoubtedly one will never include/understand anything with the drama Galileo if one remains prisoner of a simple scientific perspective. The new truth was far from being only 'scientific'. It was basically about a crack of the sacral image of the world and bursting of the great bio-cosmic unit. The dislocation of the sacral centre could not dramatically dislocate a whole coherence.
