Symbol
Opening
crucifies the seriousness of any speech and returns the word to the other dimension of itself. Remains a saying at the borderline.
Allegory. Parabola. Poem. With the symbol
as the signifier. Symbol. From the Greek syn-balein:
to bring closer, to put together.
Two pieces of a broken shard which, in 'sticking' perfectly together,
prove an identity. Each symbolic half is thus open to its other
half.
The
sense, basically, is given through the difference in its two halves
symbolic systems. The man symbol of the Other. I.e. its visible half
which does not cease calling other half, invisible…
The
extreme lability of the existential direction, its gaping, its
`weakness', return towards the `force' of another kind. Not in
continuity but in rupture. Through uncertainty and risk the space of
the bet opens thus. It is there that the authentic human one
decides.
To
speak is to cross the field symbolic system infinitely. The animal
does not reach the word because the sign remains prisoner of the
thing, the situation, the bonds… The man speaks thanks to the
released sign, in the exodus out of a world buckled in his
compactness.
